DESCRIPTION

The 5-146130-5 is a vertical AMPMODU header connector from the AMPMODU .025 [0.64] Square Interconnection System featuring 12 positions with 0.100 [2.54] inch centerline spacing. This header is designed with solder tails for direct PCB mounting and includes board retention features using swaged tails for enhanced mechanical stability. The connector has a contact area of 0.045 [1.14] inches typical diameter with recommended hole size of 0.040±0.003 [1.02±0.08] inches before plating and 0.045±0.001 [1.14±0.02] inches after plating. The header dimensions are 0.584 inches [14.83 mm] in length (A dimension) and 0.500 inches [12.70 mm] in width (B dimension), with C dimension of 0.230 [5.84] inches and D dimension of 0.185 [4.70] inches. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable interconnection in compact PCB layouts with standard 0.100 inch spacing, commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics.
