DESCRIPTION

5-146276-6 is a vertical header connector assembly, MOD II breakaway design, single row configuration with high-temperature capability. The connector features 0.025 inch square posts spaced at 0.100 inch centers, with a contact area of 5.08 mm [0.200 inch]. The assembly includes gold plating in the contact area (0.000381 inch minimum) and matte tin plating on solder tails with nickel underplating (0.00127 inch minimum). The post tips are precisely dimensioned at 0.64±0.05 mm [0.025±0.002 inch] diameter (plated condition) with 0.38 mm [0.015 inch] typical height. This connector is designed for printed circuit board mounting on 0.063 inch [1.60 mm] thick boards with recommended stencil thickness of 0.012 inch [0.305 mm], making it suitable for high-reliability interconnection applications requiring breakaway functionality.
