DESCRIPTION

5179031-6 is a fine-pitch SMT stacking connector designed for parallel board-to-board applications with a 0.8 mm free height configuration. This connector is available in multiple position counts ranging from 40 to 200 positions, with dimensions A: 55.20 mm (2.173 in), B: 61.80 mm (2.433 in), and C: 60.20 mm (2.370 in) for the 140-position variant. The connector features gold plating options of either 8 µ" Au or 30 µ" Au to ensure reliable electrical contact and corrosion resistance. It is supplied in tube, tube with pickup cap, or tape and reel packaging formats, and all part numbers are RoHS compliant. These connectors are ideal for high-density interconnect applications in consumer electronics, telecommunications, and industrial equipment where space constraints and reliable stacking heights are critical requirements.
