DESCRIPTION

The 5223514-1 is a 2mm centerline Futurebus+ free-board (header) connector designed for signal transmission in backplane and midplane applications. It features 24 signal positions arranged in 4 rows with a 2.00 mm × 2.00 mm centerline matrix, right-angle PCB mounting, and compliant press-fit pins for reliable board attachment. The connector has a mating post length of 5.00 mm and a termination post length of 3.36 mm, with contacts made from phosphor bronze and gold flash over palladium nickel plating for superior conductivity and corrosion resistance. Rated for 30 VAC operation and constructed with liquid crystal polymer (LCP) housing, this connector is RoHS and ELV compliant, making it suitable for high-density interconnect applications in industrial and telecommunications equipment where robust signal integrity and compliance with environmental standards are required.
