DESCRIPTION

54326-2 is a gold-plated copper solder contact for AMP Power Lock Series I connectors, designed for high current electrical connections. The contact features gold plating of 0.000030 inch (0.00076 mm) over 0.000050 inch (0.0013 mm) nickel, with a contact material thickness of 0.035 inch (0.089 mm) copper. It accepts a maximum wire size of 12 AWG (3 mm²) and is supplied in loose piece form. This solder contact is suitable for free-hanging, surface mounted, thru-panel mounted, and printed circuit applications requiring reliable high current handling with positive contact retention provided by integral locking springs in compatible housings.
