DESCRIPTION

5499923-1 is a pin header with long latches designed for Ultra ATA bus ribbon cable interconnect solutions. It features 10 positions with 0.025" [0.64 mm] square posts on the mating end and a soldertail length of 0.185" [4.70 mm]. The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating on the mating end and tin in the wire termination area over nickel. The housing is made from thermoplastic material rated UL 94 V-0. This pin header is designed to mate with AMP-LATCH strain relief receptacles and is commonly used in high-speed data transfer applications requiring reliable ribbon cable connections.
