DESCRIPTION

5536397-5 is a Eurocard Type C receptacle connector assembly designed for board-to-board signal transmission applications. It features 48 positions arranged in 3 rows with a 2.54 mm (0.100 in) centerline spacing, utilizing socket-type contacts made from copper alloy with DIN 41612 Class 2 plating on the mating area and tin plating on the termination area. The connector is mounted vertically to the PCB through solder termination with a post length of 2.49 mm (0.098 in), and includes Boardlock retention for secure mounting. With a rated contact current of 1.5 A, UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and full RoHS/ELV compliance, this connector is ideal for industrial and telecommunications equipment requiring reliable half-size Eurocard interconnections with polarization-based mating alignment.
