DESCRIPTION

The 5536405-5 is a Type C Eurocard connector plug designed for high-density PCB applications with 96 contact positions distributed across three loaded rows (A, B, C). It features right-angle PCB mounting with solder post termination, a contact cross-section of 0.64 mm square, and copper alloy contacts with DIN 41612 Class 2 plating for reliable mating performance. The connector utilizes a polymer housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating and includes PCB retention via Boardlock(s) for secure mounting. This connector is RoHS/ELV compliant and supports wave solder processes up to 265°C, making it suitable for industrial applications including FUTUREBUS, MULTIBUS (II), NUBUS, VMEbus, and VXIBus systems where robust, high-pin-count interconnection is required.
