DESCRIPTION

556880-1 is an in-line mating connector from the AMP multifitting Mark II or AMP MONO-SHAPE connector series designed for RAST 5 applications. The connector features a 5.0 mm centerline according to RAST 5 specifications and is available in configurations from 2 to 12 positions. It is constructed with PA 6.6 plastic housing material and copper alloy contacts with post-tinned finish (2.0 µm min.). The connector supports wire sizes from 0.5 to 1.5 mm² with current ratings up to 16 A maximum and rated voltage of 380 V max. These connectors are commonly used in industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable wire-to-board or wire-to-wire connections.
