DESCRIPTION

5747459-1 is a subminiature D-Sub receptacle connector featuring 9 contact positions in a right-angle posted configuration designed for printed circuit board mounting. The connector has shell dimensions of 1.213 inches (30.81 mm) in length and 0.984 inches (24.99 mm) in width, with .125 inch (3.18 mm) standard mounting holes for secure board attachment. It is preloaded with size 20 DF posted socket contacts and offers contact finish options including gold flash on the mating end with tin on the termination end, both with nickel underplating. The connector utilizes 4-40 threaded inserts or fixed female screwlocks as mounting hardware and is recommended for use with printed circuit boards having a maximum thickness of 0.093 inches (2.36 mm). This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable signal transmission in compact spaces, such as instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and industrial control equipment.
