DESCRIPTION

5748146-4 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D connector plug designed for high-density applications requiring 25 contact positions. This straight posted connector features phosphor bronze contacts with duplex plating (0.000030 inch gold on mating end and tin on termination end) with a minimum 0.000050 inch nickel underplate, ensuring reliable electrical performance and corrosion resistance. The connector has a shell size of 3 with overall dimensions of 2.088 inches (53.04 mm) length and 1.852 inches (47.04 mm) width, with a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) and is configured with 4-40 threaded inserts for secure PCB mounting. This connector is commonly used in industrial instrumentation, telecommunications equipment, and military applications where compact, high-contact-density interconnections are required.
