DESCRIPTION

The 5748872-1 is a right-angle posted D-subminiature plug connector manufactured by TE Connectivity (AMP brand) designed for reliable board-level interconnection applications. This connector features 15 contact positions with duplex plating (gold on mating end, tin on termination end with nickel underplate) and is equipped with 4-40 threaded inserts for secure PCB mounting. The connector has shell dimensions of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm) width and 1.312 inches (33.32 mm) height, with a mounting hole diameter of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm). It is preloaded with size 20 DF posted pin contacts and accommodates a recommended PCB board thickness of 0.093 inches (2.36 mm) maximum.
