DESCRIPTION

5786144-1 is a 15-position PCB D-Sub receptacle connector from the AMPLIMITE Action Pin series, designed for reliable through-hole PCB mounting applications. It features a 2-row configuration with 1.38 mm centerline pitch, shell size 2, and gold over palladium nickel plated contacts with 30 µin mating area plating thickness for excellent electrical performance. The connector includes female screwlocks made of brass, a carbon steel shell with tin over copper plating, and a black nylon/polyester GF housing rated UL 94V-0. With a termination post length of 5.8 mm and mounting hole diameter of 3.05 mm, it supports PCB thicknesses of 1.57 mm and 2.36 mm. This connector is ideal for industrial, telecommunications, and computing applications requiring secure mating connections with compliant tail retention.
