DESCRIPTION

5-794629-4 is a dual-row surface-mount header connector from TE Connectivity's Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system designed for wire-to-board connections. This header features a 3mm (0.118 inch) centerline spacing with support for 2-24 position configurations and includes vertical angle orientation capability. The connector supports crimp contacts rated for 22-18 AWG (0.3-0.9 mm²) wire with insulation diameters up to 2.79mm, and delivers a maximum current rating of 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC. The header is compatible with SMT (surface-mount technology) assembly, includes metal hold-down options, and features retention bumps on the solder tail for improved mechanical stability. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, reliable interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and automotive systems where space efficiency and high-density wiring are essential.
