DESCRIPTION

The 5-861610-1 is a 20 KVDC bulkhead-mounted receptacle kit designed for high-voltage applications in aerospace, defense, and marine environments. This RoHS-compliant connector kit accommodates wire sizes from 22-20 AWG (0.3-0.6 mm²) with a maximum insulation diameter of 0.185 inches, and includes a hand tool (91523-1) and extraction tool (861751-1) for assembly and maintenance. The kit features a 1/2-20 UNF threaded mounting interface with a recommended panel cutout diameter of 0.520 inches, enabling secure bulkhead installation. The receptacle housing incorporates a rear insulation collar design for enhanced environmental sealing and electrical isolation. This connector is widely used in high-voltage signal distribution, power delivery, and instrumentation systems where reliable hermetic sealing and compact form factors are essential.
