The 5-87631-5 is a Mod IV double-row wire-applied connector housing designed for the AMPMODU Interconnection System with 10 positions arranged on a 0.100 x 0.100 inch (2.54 x 2.54 mm) centerline. This housing features integrated strain relief and pull tab bonded to the thermoplastic body, with dimensions of 0.500 inches (12.70 mm) length, 0.200 inches (5.08 mm) width, and 0.200 inches (5.08 mm) height. The housing is constructed from glass-filled nylon thermoplastic rated 94V-0 and includes one detent for positive mating alignment. It accommodates wire-applied contacts that terminate 20–32 AWG discrete wire with dual cantilever contact beams and built-in anti-overstress features, supporting a contact current rating of 3 amperes with termination resistance of 12 milliohms maximum for beryllium copper contacts.
