DESCRIPTION

6-1478762-7 is an ADK Series die-cast backshell with straight entry designed for 25-way D-sub connectors. This backshell features shell size 3 with dimensions A: 47.0 mm, B: 14.6 mm, C: 47.3 mm, and D: 53.2 mm, and accommodates cable diameters from 4.0 to 13.0 mm. It utilizes Pozidriv fixing screws and M3 jackscrew threads, with the backshell halves constructed from zinc with nickel finish and strain relief components made from polycarbonate UL94 V0. The assembly includes trivalent chromium chromate coating over zinc plating for corrosion resistance. This backshell is ideal for applications requiring robust cable strain relief and EMI shielding in industrial, telecommunications, and instrumentation environments.
