DESCRIPTION

640497-1 is a 2-circuit vertical pin header designed for PC board mounting applications within the AMP Soft Shell Miniature Rectangular (MR) connector system. This in-line style header features tin plating and is designed for use with 0.062 inch (1.57 mm) thick PC boards, with dimensions of 0.455 inches (11.56 mm) for dimension A and 0.120 inches (3.05 mm) for dimension B. The header mates with socket housing part number 1-640517-0 and is RoHS compliant. It is commonly used in wire-to-board interconnect applications where reliable signal connections are required in electronic assemblies.
