DESCRIPTION

The 641238-2 is a closed-end, wire-to-post connector from the MTA-100 product family, designed for mass termination using the insulation displacement (IDC) technique. It is specifically configured for 24 AWG wire and features phosphor bronze contacts with a .000030 inch gold plating over nickel for enhanced corrosion protection. The housing is constructed from UL94V-2 rated white nylon. This connector system is rated for 250 VAC and a maximum current of 5 amps, operating reliably in temperatures from -55°C to 105°C. Its preloaded dual-beam contacts and end-to-end stackable design make it ideal for various wire-to-board applications requiring efficient and reliable assembly.
