DESCRIPTION

66564-6 is a precision crimp pin contact engineered for wire sizes 24-20 AWG (0.2-0.6 mm²) with an insulation diameter range of 0.060-0.120 inches (1.52-3.05 mm). The contact features a brass body with stainless steel retention spring and is available in either selective gold/nickel or bright tin-lead finish to meet various environmental and performance requirements. This contact is designed for use in AMP M Series, CPC (Circular Plastic Connectors), Circular Metal-Shell, Metrimate, and "G" Series connectors, supporting both strip form and loose piece configurations. The contact accommodates a test current of 13 amperes and is compatible with multiple tooling options including the PRO-CRIMPER applicator system, making it suitable for high-volume production and field assembly applications requiring reliable electrical connections.
