DESCRIPTION
66584-2 is a Type VI Multimate socket contact designed for use with G Series modular connectors. This contact is engineered for 24-20 AWG wire sizes (0.2-0.6 mm²) with an insulation diameter range of 0.040-0.080 inches (1.02-2.03 mm) and features a tin (A) contact finish. The contact size is 16 with a pin diameter of 0.062 inches (1.57 mm) and is rated for a test current of 13 amperes. Constructed from copper alloy material, this socket contact is supplied reeled for use with AMP Quick-Change Applicators. It is ideal for applications requiring reliable electrical connections in modular connector systems.
