DESCRIPTION

6-747836-8 is an AMPLIMITE subminiature D-type receptacle connector designed for reliable PCB mounting applications. This shell size 1 connector features 9 contact positions with size 20 DF posted socket contacts preloaded, and includes boardlocks and fixed female screwlocks for secure mounting. The connector utilizes a steel tin-plated front shell, 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing, and phosphor bronze socket contacts with gold plating (0.0076 mm) on the mating end and tin-lead on the termination end with nickel underplating. Key dimensions include 1.213 inches (30.81 mm) for dimension A and 0.984 inches (24.99 mm) for dimension B, with a post diameter of 0.026 inches (0.66 mm). This connector is ideal for applications requiring robust D-sub connections with grounding straps and is recommended for use with 0.062 inch (1.58 mm) thick PC boards.
