DESCRIPTION

6-747843-7 is a standard board mount D-Sub connector featuring 37 positions in a plug configuration. This HD 20 series connector offers right-angle PCB mounting orientation with through-hole mount style and includes a front metal shell with steel construction. Key features include gold-plated mating contacts over palladium nickel, tin-plated shell, and brass contact base material with round contact shape. The connector incorporates boardlock retention, grounding indents, and grounding straps for secure mounting and EMI protection. It is designed for standard PCB thickness of 0.062 inches (1.57 mm) and meets UL 94V-0 flammability rating, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial electronic applications requiring reliable D-Sub connectivity.
