DESCRIPTION

6-968971-1 is a 9-position AMP MCP 9.5 mm receptacle housing designed for the AMP MCP Interconnection System used in automotive electrical and electronic applications. The housing is constructed from PA 66 GF13 material and features a blue color for keying identification (Keying Option C). It accommodates wire sizes up to 10.0 mm² FLK maximum and includes an extraction tool (Part No. 1-1579007-7) for contact removal. The housing is sealed to provide protection against environmental contaminants and supports reliable long-term operation in powertrain systems, safety and security systems, and body and chassis applications. This connector system offers high reliability through its multiple contact point design with redundant contact points and protected contact springs.
