DESCRIPTION
7-215464-4 is a male-on-board connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector family, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections with a 1.27 mm contact centerline spacing. The connector features tin-plated contact design and incorporates a positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, creating gas-tight connections that are resistant to fretting corrosion. The connector is available in multiple position sizes (4 to 20 positions) and is supplied with full range of application tooling from hand tools to fully automated equipment. This product is widely used in automation and control applications including production and material handling equipment, control units, robots, motors, heating systems, automotive electronics, and communication infrastructure.
