DESCRIPTION

746613-1 is an 8-position AMP-LATCH DIP (Dual In Line Package) plug ribbon cable connector designed for termination to printed circuit boards. It features a centerline matrix of 2.54 x 7.62 mm (.100 x .300 in) and supports PCB thickness ranging from 2.39 to 3.20 mm (0.094 to 0.126 in). The connector utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating on both the mating area and solder tails, with a solder post length of 3.95 mm (0.156 in). The black thermoplastic polyester housing is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability and comes preassembled with a cover. This connector is ideal for ribbon cable applications requiring reliable PCB connections in electronic assemblies.
