DESCRIPTION

The 747052-4 is a subminiature D-series cable connector from TE Connectivity's AMPLIMITE HDP-20 line, designed for crimp snap-in contact termination in compact electronic assemblies. The connector features a 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black insert with a steel shell available in tin or zinc plating, supporting shell sizes 1–5 with contact positions ranging from 9 to 50. Contacts are phosphor bronze with duplex plating: either 0.00076 inches (0.0076 mm) gold on the mating end with tin on the termination end (Finish A), or gold flash on the mating end with tin on the termination end (Finish B), with the entire contact nickel-plated. The connector accommodates cable diameters from 0.165 to 0.562 inches (4.19 to 14.28 mm) depending on shell size and ferrule selection, with stepped and straight ferrule styles available.
