DESCRIPTION

The 747141-2 is an AMPLIMITE subminiature D-type receptacle connector featuring 15 contact positions with threaded inserts and straight-posted ACTION PIN socket contacts. It is constructed with a steel front shell (tin plated), a 94V-O rated thermoplastic black housing, and brass threaded inserts, designed for secure mounting on printed circuit boards with a minimum thickness of 0.093 inches. The connector features contact finish plating code A, which includes 0.00003 inches of gold on the mating end and tin-lead on the ACTION PIN post surface, with a minimum 0.00005 inches nickel underplate on the entire contact. Key dimensions include a shell length (A) of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm), width (B) of 1.312 inches (33.32 mm), and depth (C) of 0.509 inches (12.93 mm). This connector is commonly used in industrial electronics, telecommunications, and instrumentation applications where reliable high-density interconnection and secure threaded mounting are required.
