DESCRIPTION

747142-2 is an AMPLIMITE subminiature D-type receptacle connector designed for applications requiring reliable high-density interconnection. This HD-20 front metal-shell connector features 15 contact positions with straight posted ACTION PIN socket contacts and is equipped with a fixed female screwlock for secure mating. The connector has a steel front shell with tin plating, a 94V-O rated thermoplastic black housing, and brass threaded inserts, with contact finish specified as plating code A (0.00076 inches gold on mating end with tin-lead on ACTION PIN post surface and 0.00127 inches minimum nickel underplate). Key dimensions include length A of 1.541 inches (39.14 mm), width B of 1.312 inches (33.32 mm), and depth C of 0.509 inches (12.93 mm), designed for 0.093 inch minimum thick printed circuit boards.
