DESCRIPTION

747306-3 is a crimp snap-in contact connector designed for AMPLIMITE subminiature D cable connectors, available in shell sizes 1-5 with both stepped and straight cable exit styles. The connector features a length dimension of 0.440 inches (11.18 mm) for shell sizes 1-3 and 0.625 inches (15.88 mm) for shell sizes 4-5, accommodating cable diameters ranging from 0.165 to 0.562 inches (4.19 to 14.28 mm). The product utilizes crimp termination technology with duplex plating options (gold and tin, or gold flash and tin) and is compatible with hand crimping tool part number 543344-1 and pneumatic bench tool part number 312522-3 equipped with appropriate die sets. These connectors are commonly used in cable assemblies requiring reliable, compact connections in industrial instrumentation, data acquisition, and electronic equipment applications where space constraints and secure termination are critical.
