DESCRIPTION

747843-6 is a subminiature D-type right-angle plug connector designed for high-density interconnect applications. It features 37 contact positions with a shell size 4 configuration, threaded zinc inserts, and a fixed female screwlock for secure mating. The connector is constructed with a steel front shell (tin plated), 94V-0 rated thermoplastic black housing, and brass eyelets (tin plated). Pin contacts are brass with duplex plating: gold on the mating end and tin-lead on the termination end, with complete nickel underplating. Key dimensions include a length (A) of 2.729 inches (69.32 mm), width (B) of 2.500 inches (63.50 mm), and a contact post diameter of 0.026 inches (0.66 mm).
