DESCRIPTION

7-5530843-5 is a 6-position high-current card edge connector designed for power interconnection applications. This connector features contacts on 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerlines with selective gold plating for high performance at low cost, and accepts double-sided PC boards with thickness of 0.054 to 0.070 inches (1.37 to 1.78 mm). The connector has a solder tail configuration with a post length of 0.125 inches (3.18 mm) and overall dimensions of 0.860 inches (21.84 mm) length by 0.750 inches (19.05 mm) width, providing 50% to 100% greater current carrying capacity compared to traditional card edge connectors. The glass-filled polyester housing is 94V-0 rated and compliant with UL Component Program (File No. E28476) and CSA certification (File No. LR 7189), making it suitable for high-reliability power distribution and interconnection in industrial and commercial equipment.
