DESCRIPTION

770004-4 is a socket contact designed for use with Universal MATE-N-LOK connector systems. This contact is constructed from phosphor bronze with a duplex finish, featuring gold plating in the mating area and tin plating in the crimp area over a nickel underplate. It accommodates wire sizes ranging from 12-10 AWG (3.0-5.0 mm²) with a maximum insulation diameter of 0.200 inches (5.08 mm). The contact has an L dimension of 0.980 inches (24.90 mm) and is available in strip form for automated termination. These contacts are commonly used in power circuit applications for home appliances and industrial equipment where reliable electrical connections are required.
