DESCRIPTION
770042-1 is the rear component of a 12-circuit Universal MATE-N-LOK II connector plug kit designed for wire-to-board power circuit applications. This connector is part of the 5.0 mm Power Key Connectors (5.0 PKC) family, featuring a compact design with a 19.4 mm mated height and 5.0 mm contact centerline spacing. The connector incorporates a double lock plate for complete contact loading, locking levers surrounded by protective walls to prevent wire tangling, and bubble-release design for potted applications. It is rated for 600 V AC or DC operation and is recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (File No. E28476) and Canadian Standards Association (File No. LR7189). The 12-circuit configuration with pre-tin brass contacts makes it suitable for power distribution in home appliances, particularly gas appliances, where reliable high-current connections are essential.
