DESCRIPTION

786555-5 is an AMPLIMITE .050 Series subminiature D-type vertical receptacle header connector with ACTION PIN tails in a plain configuration. The connector features a thermoplastic housing rated 94V-0 for SMT compatibility, a carbon steel shell plated with bright tin over copper, and a zinc bracket plated with nickel over copper. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with duplex plating featuring a minimum of 0.00076 mm gold on the mating end and tin-lead on the solder end, all with nickel underplating. This connector is designed for PCB mounting applications requiring reliable subminiature D-type interconnections with extra pin contact protection provided by rails for straight-out unmating motion.
