DESCRIPTION

The 811242-5 is a terminal crimping applicator from TE Connectivity's Ocean Applicator Series, designed for high-precision wire and insulation crimping in lead and harness manufacturing. It features a modular platform with two ram interface styles (Atlantic or Pacific), three feed options (mechanical, pneumatic, or servo), and interchangeable feed units for easy upgrades. The applicator incorporates fine crimp height adjustment with a range of 0–1.5 mm in 0.01 mm steps, insulation adjustment ranges from 0.85 mm to 3.30 mm with corresponding step sizes, and an enhanced ram way interface for improved alignment and crimp consistency. The design includes a terminal hold-down system with positive detent positioning, redesigned components for optimized operation, and increased bearing surfaces for greater support and wear resistance. This applicator is ideal for applications requiring repeatable, high-quality terminal crimping with flexibility to adapt to various terminal types and production requirements.
