DESCRIPTION

8-215079-6 is a female-on-board top entry connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch modular connector system, designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. It features a 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) contact spacing with tin-plated contacts and a unique contact spring system that provides gas tight connections and fretting corrosion resistance. The connector is suitable for mass termination of 28 AWG (0.08 mm² to 0.09 mm²) ribbon cable and mates with male connectors including 215083, 338095+338096, 338095+338097, 215464, and 338728. Common applications include production and material handling equipment, control units, robots and motors, car radios, navigation systems, and audio equipment.
