DESCRIPTION

8-215464-8 is a 10-position male-on-board connector from the AMP Micro-MaTch miniature connector system, designed for through-hole soldering onto PC boards. This connector features indented solder legs for firm retention in the PC board and includes a polarizing pin on one end for proper orientation. With dimensions of A = 11.43 mm and B = 15.8 mm, it is designed for PC boards with a nominal thickness of 1.6 mm and requires 0.8 mm diameter holes. The connector is wave solder capable to 265°C and is commonly used in wire-to-board and board-to-board applications where miniaturization and reliable connections are required.
