The 822473-1 is a 20-position PLCC (Plastic Leaded Chip Carrier) socket assembly designed for surface-mount applications on printed circuit boards. The socket features phosphor bronze contacts with 1.52 µm tin-lead plating over 0.51 µm nickel finish, housed in a thermoplastic UL94 V-0 body that conforms to JEDEC specifications MS-016 and MS-018. It is rated for 1 A per contact at 250 V with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 V RMS between adjacent contacts and an insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum, maintaining 500 MO minimum after humidity and thermal shock testing.
