DESCRIPTION

8-34854-1 is a pre-insulated solderless hook tongue terminal designed for reliable wire termination in control circuits and power wiring applications. The terminal features a yellow vinyl insulation (UL 94V-0) with a copper body and tin plating per ASTM B-545, providing high dielectric strength and corrosion resistance. Dimensions include a width (W) of 0.375 inches (9.53 mm), a center-to-stud distance (C) of 7.67 mm, an overall length (L) of 22.68 mm, and a maximum insulation diameter of 6.35 mm. The terminal accommodates 12-10 AWG wire sizes (5.180-13.100 circular mils or 2.62-6.64 mm²) with a tongue material thickness of 0.042 inches and an M4 stud size.
