DESCRIPTION

87227-3 is an unshrouded double-row vertical header from the AMPMODU .025 [0.64] Square Interconnection System, designed for reliable board-to-board connections. This 6-position header features a 0.100 x 0.100 inch [2.54 x 2.54 mm] centerline spacing with precision-formed square posts measuring 0.025 inch [0.64 mm]. The header has overall dimensions of A = 0.284 inch [7.21 mm] and B = 0.200 inch [5.08 mm], with Plating B post finish. The AMPMODU system utilizes precision formed receptacle contacts and mating posts with burr-free lead-in and double cantilever beams for tolerant mating. This header is RoHS compliant and suitable for applications requiring modular interconnections in electronic assemblies.
