DESCRIPTION

87227-4 is a double-row, unshrouded header connector from the AMPMODU .025 [0.64] Square Interconnection System, designed for standard PCB mounting with 0.100 x 0.100 inch [2.54 x 2.54 mm] centerline spacing. This 8-position connector features a dual-cantilever beam contact design with box construction, providing reliable electrical connections for through-hole PCB applications. The connector is available with multiple plating options (Plating A and Plating B) and is compatible with recommended PC board hole layouts for 0.055 inch [1.40 mm] minimum thick boards. The product is RoHS compliant and suitable for general-purpose interconnection in electronic assemblies requiring robust, repeatable mating cycles and secure contact retention.
