DESCRIPTION

90684-2 is a CERTI-CRIMP hand tool designed for consistent and repeatable terminal crimping applications. The tool features bottoming dies and a ratchet system to ensure proper crimp force is applied according to terminal designer specifications, resulting in specified tensile strength, mechanical stability, and electrical conductivity. CERTI-CRIMP tools are furnished with documentation of critical crimp area dimensions and handle pressure settings, reported on a Certificate of Certification. The recommended verification cycle is 8 months or 1,000 cycles, whichever comes first. This tool is commonly used in wire processing applications where crimp quality and repeatability are essential.
