DESCRIPTION

The 91002-1 is a contact insertion tool designed for inserting contacts that have been applied to small diameter wire in Universal MATE-N-LOK connector systems. This tool is part of the TE Connectivity/AMP Soft Shell Pin and Socket Connector product line and is used in assembly and maintenance operations. The tool facilitates proper placement of pre-crimped contacts into connector housings, ensuring correct alignment and seating. It is commonly used in harness assembly, PC board applications, and field service work where connector contacts need to be inserted into housings. The tool supports the full range of wire sizes accommodated by the MATE-N-LOK system, from 30 AWG to 10 AWG.
