DESCRIPTION

917764-1 is a tab receptacle contact component for the 2.5 mm signal double lock (2.5 SDL) connector system manufactured by TE Connectivity. This contact is specifically designed for wire gauges 22-20 AWG with wire cross-sections of 0.30-0.53 mm² and wire insulation diameters up to 1.8 mm. The contact is constructed from phosphor bronze with pre-tin plating and is loaded into cap housings to form complete connector assemblies. The signal double lock connector system is rated up to 3 Amps per line and features an audible click when contacts are fully inserted, along with polarizing ribs and double lock mechanisms to prevent unintentional disengagement. These connectors are widely used in household appliances, gaming systems, vending machines, garage door openers, security systems, industrial controls, and HVAC system controls, offering reliable discrete wire interconnect solutions with UL recognition, CSA certification, and TUV approval.
