DESCRIPTION

966067-5 is a DIN wire ferrule with plastic collar according to DIN 46228, Part 4, specifically designed for 0.75 mm² flexible wire connections. The ferrule features a copper sleeve with ECU galvanic tin plating and a polypropylene plastic collar rated up to +120°C, with dimensions of 14.0 mm (A), 8.0 mm (B), 1.2 mm (C), and 2.8 mm (D), and a maximum insulation diameter of 2.5 mm. The product is supplied in strip form with a 10.0 mm strip length and is crimped using AMP precision tools to form a gas-tight connection that holds individual wires reliably. Wire ferrules are essential for connecting flexible leads to screw or spring clamps in automotive powertrain systems, safety systems, and control units, providing the high degree of contact reliability required in switching cabinets and equipment with row clamp or poke-in clamp connectors.
