DESCRIPTION

242 is a heavy duty NEMA terminal block from the BUCHANAN 200 Series, featuring tubular screw contact design for secure wire termination. This direct mount (flat base) nylon terminal block accommodates wire sizes from #18 to #4 AWG with a 1/2 inch wire strip length and utilizes a 1/4-28 set screw for reliable connections. The block is rated for 85A ampacity at 600V with a 0.50" [12.70] center-to-center spacing and offers a maximum service temperature of 125°C (257°F). RoHS compliant and UL94V-2 or UL94V-0 flammability rated, this terminal block is ideal for heavy duty industrial control panels, power distribution, and equipment wiring applications requiring robust electrical connections.
