DESCRIPTION
The 732-8020-02 is a single-module DMC-MD series connector designed for quick-change modular connectivity in aircraft in-flight entertainment and cabin systems. It features flexible modularity supporting crimp and PCB contacts ranging from size 24 to size 8, with options for signal, coaxial, quadrax, power, and optical contacts. The connector operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C and delivers contact current ratings from 3 A (size 24) to 46 A (size 8), with an insulation resistance of 5000 MO. It provides EMI shielding performance with attenuation ranging from 50 dB at 100 MHz to 30 dB at 1000 MHz, and meets durability requirements of 500 mating cycles and 500 hours salt spray resistance. This connector is ideal for aerospace applications requiring reliable, reconfigurable interconnections with toolless assembly and multiple keying possibilities.
