DESCRIPTION
D38999/26FE6PN is a MIL-DTL-38999 Series III straight plug connector designed for rugged, harsh environment subminiature applications in aerospace, defense, and marine industries. The connector features an aluminum shell with electroless nickel plating (48-hour salt spray rated), a threaded 360° turn coupling mechanism, and scoop-proof design with environmentally sealed construction. It supports multiple contact sizes (8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 22, 23) with AS39029 contact type, accommodating up to 187 maximum signal contacts depending on shell size configuration. The connector operates across a wide temperature range of -65°C to +200°C (depending on shell finish), provides 500 mating cycles durability, and offers crimp, solder cup, and PCB tail contact styles.
