DESCRIPTION

The CV3948-000 is the complete kit for the Raychem Mini-Ray MK5, a portable infrared heating tool system. This kit comprises a manual control box (ED-7-CONT-230/110V-MK5), the hand tool (IR-1759-MK5-GUN), an AT3130 reflector, and a spare bulb. The hand tool uses a 250W tungsten halogen lamp to generate heat, reaching a typical operating temperature of 600°C, and is recommended for products up to 9 mm in diameter. The simple manual controller operates with either 230V or 110V supply voltage, maintaining power as long as the trigger is depressed. Lightweight and convenient, this UL-approved tool is ideal for installing SolderSleeve products in constrained workspaces.
